Beautifully crafted from bone china, our Citrus Book Bindery branded mugs are hand-fired in Stoke-on-Trent – the very heart of England’s pottery industry. Since the 17th century, the area has been almost exclusively known for its pottery manufacturing, with companies such as Royal Doulton, Spode, & Wedgwood all calling Stoke home.

Known for its beautiful lustre and translucency, bone china is the most robust china available, making it suitable for any occasion. Bone china is made from 40% bone ash – this makes strong yet thin and delicate pieces which are microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. The artwork has been applied by hand and fired into the glaze so it sits below the outer gloss coating of the mug. It is not a vinyl decal or printed onto the surface of the china so it will not peel, chip, or scratch with use.

Each mug is approximately 8.5 x 8 x 11cm and holds 300ml.

Shipping & Delivery

Most orders are ready to ship in 10-14 business days, but please understand that we cannot guarantee shipping timeframes due to the time-intensive nature of handmade goods. For this same reason, bear in mind that large orders consisting of many books may take a little more time than suggested here.

ORDERS WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM

All UK orders are shipped via Royal Mail Tracked unless otherwise arranged and are typically received 1-2 working days after shipping, but please be aware that this is not a guaranteed service, and delays do occasionally still occur.

FOR ORDERS OUTSIDE THE UNITED KINGDOM

International shipping costs include tracking where available.  Please note that tracking is not available in certain locations.

Orders are typically received in 1-2 weeks from posting, but please understand that delays can occur, particulary with customs, so this can not be guaranteed. If you need guaranteed delivery by a certain date please contact me prior to placing your order for additional shipping options.

International customers are responsible for all fees associated with shipping to their respective countries. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the UK may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates. All international orders will have full value declared on customs forms.
